A Raining World, A Brave Heart.


This is my bachelor’s thesis: Path Finding Robot based on Fuzzy Logic and Microsoft Robotics Studio. It’s a cool program. I promise it’s cooler when you see it running on my laptop. I finished this project in June 2009, and I just uploaded to youtube.

Introduction:

A path finding Robot build with Microsoft Robotics Studio. The robot can walk through a room from a point to another, and avoid collisions. I used fuzzy logic as the core algorithm and enhanced the robot’s performance by adding some “intuitions”. The Robot looks very smart though. ^^ The Microsoft Robotics Studio is an application of SOA. It can provide rich functionalities, such as simulation, remote real-time control, and flexible programming interfaces. It’s a very useful platform for both academic research and high fidelity testing in commercial applications.
